Insomnia is simply a sleeping disorder which you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. There are twenty five percent of people around the world suffer from insomnia. There are many causes of insomnia. According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), there are many causes of Insomnia, such as
1. Headache or Arthritis.
2. Heartburn.
3. Heart failure or asthma.
4. Hyperthyroidism, the term for an overactive thyroid.
5. Menopause and associated hot flashes.
6. Other sleep disorders, including sleep related breathing problems or restless legs syndrome.
